New Source Reveals Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Will Pack In A 3,600 mAh Battery And Launch Aug. 2

#GalaxyNote7 #Smartphone – New Source Reveals Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Will Pack In A 3,600 mAh Battery And Launch Aug. 2 : A credible source has come forward with new information pertaining to the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. The Smartphone will reportedly feature a larger battery than last year’s Galaxy Note 5, and the information also backs up claims it will be announced on Aug. 2.

The Galaxy Note 7 has been dominating tech headlines over the last few weeks, and it doesn’t look like things are going to slow down anytime soon. Tech Times has reported that a reliable source confirmed that Samsung will skip the Galaxy Note 6 moniker and go directly to the Note 7.

The logic behind the move is to keep the company’s flagship devices on the same number naming sequence. Samsung apparently does not want consumers to think its Galaxy Note lineup is a generation behind its Galaxy S series.

A report in April claimed that Samsung was testing both a flat and dual curved edge display Note and was planning to only release one model. A few days ago, we reported that the company has supposedly chosen to move forward with the dual curved edge model and has no plans to release a flat screen Galaxy Note 7.

In terms of specs, it was widely reported that Samsung would use a large 4,000 mAh battery in the Galaxy Note 7, but now a source claims the phablet will actually sport a 3,600 mAh battery. Russian blogger Eldar Murtazin claims the Galaxy Note 7 will pack in a 3,600 mAh battery.

He says that even with the smaller battery, the Galaxy Note 7 will not be a slouch and will be capable of playing 20 hours of video at maximum brightness, which is impressive for a device packing in a 5.7-inch Quad HD display. In comparison, last year’s Galaxy Note 5 shipped with a 3,000 mAh battery.

The source goes on to back up reports that the Smartphone is expected to be released by mid-August. There seems to be one major feature that hasn’t been the subject of many leaks so far, and that is whether or not theGalaxy Note 7 will be IP68 certified waterproof and dust resistant.

It’s been questionable because unlike the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, the Note 7 will also include an S Pen stylus, which is ejected from the device, leaving an exposed opening when the S Pen is not inserted.

Although there has been no confirmation either way yet, it seems very likely the company will be able to achieve this feat. As always, once we hear any new information about the Galaxy Note 7, we’ll pass it on.

Samsung Galaxy S8 features Smart Glow, 4K UHD screen for Gear VR

#GalaxyS8 #GearVR – Samsung Galaxy S8 features Smart Glow, 4K UHD screen for Gear VR : Samsung has not yet revealed their Galaxy S8 flagship smartphone for 2017 but the specs and features are already surfacing through rumors. For instance, it could sport a 4K UHD screen with Smart Glow.

The South Korean tech giant has recently revealed their new Bio Blue screen technology which is claimed to be better than their current Super AMOLED offerings found in the Galaxy S7 and the upcoming Galaxy Note 7.

It could also be the next screen for their Galaxy S8 considering that the new panels will be used for next years flagship smartphones from Samsung.

Another interesting feature that the Galaxy S8 would sport is the Smart Glow notification. The new kind of notification will be found on the ring of the rear camera and it could replace the tiny LED light on the front of the phone.

It is no secret that newer smartphones will have different innovations or gimmicks that would pique the interest of the buyers. For instance, the rumored iPhone 8 is expected to sport an OLED screen that would also have the embedded TouchID sensor on the whole panel itself.

Samsungs Galaxy S8 is expected to sport the 4K UHD screen with a resolution of 2160 x 3840, GottaBeMobile has learned. It would be the same as Samsungs UHD TV offerings but with a significantly higher DPI considering that the size of the screen will be around 5.5 or 5.7 inches.

Thanks to the new screen, the flagship phone would be better for Samsungs VR capabilities. The Samsung Gear VR headset would be great for the new phone as it would have more pixels even if the screen will be divided by two.

Smart Glow is already expected to show up in the Samsung J2 2016 edition before the Galaxy S8, Toms Guide reported. Users will be able to assign different colors for the different notifications on their smartphones.

The feature will also be available for taking selfies. It will light up when the camera detects that the users face is in the frame of the screen and if it is already focused.

Samsung has not yet confirmed anything regarding the Galaxy S8 but it is already expected to launch in March 2017. The 4K UHD screen and the Smart Glow feature could be unveiled in an earlier announcement in February next year.

Samsung TouchWiz Grace UI on Galaxy Note 7 leaked

#GalaxyNote7 #TouchWiz – Samsung TouchWiz Grace UI on Galaxy Note 7 leaked : The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has been noted many times that it will feature a new UI. Yesterday, we said it will run the new Grace UX on top of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow according to a leak.

We haven’t heard much about the user interface but we know the South Korean tech giant is working on some UI changes. We don’t know where and when the “Grace” reference started but we’re excited to know what Samsung has in store for its avid fans.

HDblog.it has just published a demo video of what’s believed to be the new Grace UI. You will notice this ToughWiz  features a cleaner interface with the black and white theme with noticeable blue highlights.

There’s still the app drawer contrary to what others are doing while the folders have a new look now. When a folder is opened, you will see the background blurred a bit.

The user interface seems cleaner and more streamlined. The settings will be shown as a list. The notifications feature new toggles and a pull-down to expand a list for you to choose from. Meanwhile, the toggles feature drop down buttons that show quick settings for some functions.

We can’t say this is final but like most of you, we’re yearning for a new TouchWiz. This could be part of the “New Note UX” beta program or totally a different one so let’s just wait and see.
